Nutrition 101

The topic of nutrition is vast.  So I’ll be doing a series of videos over the coming weeks and months to help the average person cut through the nutrition noise in the media and on food packaging to make sound food choices based on common sense and nutrition facts.

But, one can’t make healthy choices regarding which foods to eat and in what proportions unless she has a basic understanding of the nutrients contained in all foods and why our bodies need them.  Learn about macronutrients, micronutrients, antioxidants, fiber, phytonutrients and much more in less time than it takes to make a meal.
