The Fit & Happier blog has been publishing weekly (minus a few vacation weeks) since April 2013 and has nearly 300 posts in the archives. Whew, that’s a lot! I’ve decided to take a new tact for my blog in 2019.
Each month will have a theme and each Monday post that month will link to previously published posts that support the theme. When necessary, I will edit and update the previous posts to represent the latest in fitness, diet and exercise studies and best practices before linking – so don’t fear outdated, old news!
In this way, the blog becomes a series, almost like a how-to book on fitness with a chapter published each week, rather than randomly selected posts that are disconnected to one another. After five and a half years and hundreds of posts, I believe this format will be a welcome change for me and my readers.
Speaking of you, my readers, you can influence the topics I choose. Submit a theme suggestion or ask a fitness related question on the Contact Form on the Request Session or Submit Fitness Question page on my website and your idea may well be a featured theme on the blog. No need to worry, the requirement to fill in your name and email address is merely to protect me from bot messages. You won’t be placed on any email lists and I won’t use your name in the blog unless you request it. I hope you’ll take me up on my offer.
So, without further ado, let’s get to this month’s theme: Fitness Resolutions. Appropriate for January, when we’re all inundated with WW and Peloton commercials. I offer alternatives to the weight loss crazes that are all the rage each time we begin a new year. And, there’s no better way to kick-off the fitness resolution theme than by reading my post from last January: “Resolution Revolution.” Click here to link to it.
