It’s the holiday season. The one time each year in which we wish complete strangers happiness on a daily basis.
It’s an interesting topic – happiness. We all want to achieve it and hope the people we love can achieve it, as well. Countless studies have been conducted to find the secret sauce to a happy life. There are a number of variables that appear to be interdependent in the people who rate high on the happiness scale. The variables can fall under the umbrella of an active lifestyle, as in, active learning, active social life, active spiritual faith and physical activity. In other words, an enriching life that incorporates the mind, body and soul. Wellness is a term often used to describe this philosophy. Which brings us to this month’s theme: Be Well, Be Happy.
This week’s blog topic is about you. Because we can’t build meaningful relationships, find spiritual meaning or nourish ourselves in the proper ways until we love ourselves, first and foremost.
